Life has been especially difficult for Taylor’s mother for a variety of reasons. In order to show her appreciation, Taylor got a custom song that would show her mom how much her creativity and warm-heartedness was valued and just how special she is to the entire family.

Kathy, my mom, is a grade school teacher and has the kindest, most nurturing and sweet soul. Her love for her children and students runs very deep. She is currently going through some very hard times. My sister, her daughter, was diagnosed with several chronic illnesses including Lyme disease and an autoimmune disease in the last few years. My mom also just went through a rough divorce with my dad. This divorce lasted two years and has been really hard on all of us.
 
She absolutely adores her dogs (two australian shepherds named Benji and Mia), long walks on the beach and hiking. She loves pop music like Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Keith Urban, Coldplay, Michael Buble, Fleetwood Mac, Amy Grant — she calls it ‘happy music.’ She is also very creative and creates mosaic mirrors in her spare time.
 
My entire life she has been the most positive and loving person, encouraged me, and always made me feel special and empowered. These days, she needs to be reminded how amazing and strong SHE is.
 
It is not her birthday or any special occasion — I just want her to know, today and every day, how much I appreciate her unconditional love and support and how special she is.”
