Millennial Romance In The Making

A love story straight out of the movies, Brandon and his wife share such a wonderful relationship that they’ve been building together since they were teenagers. Now, as they prepare for their next journey together as hopeful parents, he wanted to give her a song that celebrated this life of love they’ve built.

“We are high school sweethearts and have been together for 9 years before we got married at a destination wedding in Mexico.

While dating in high school, one of our teachers in high school joking said, “You know, only 1% of people make it to marriage from dating in high school?” We’ve held onto that even today. I actually proposed at the exact same spot outside of our high school where I first asked her to date me with a chalked heart on the ground with “1%” in the middle.

She’s my everything and I couldn’t imagine life without her. She has a heart of gold and is very passionate about everything she does and cares about. It’s very admirable how she conducts herself. Our lives and family situations mirror each other in so many ways. We’ve always said that we fit together like a perfect puzzle piece. We always say to each other, “How’d I get so lucky to have you”.

One night we stayed up very late on the phone and she thought I called her “Peach.” So, she randomly called me a “Bagel.” We thought it was hilarious at the time and we bring it up from time to time calling each other Peach and Bagel.

We don’t enjoy drinking, however we do enjoy white wine and traveling. We’ve been to South Africa and look forward to continuing our travels.  She also has tons of different laughs — each is so captivating. We are currently working on having a child together and so excited for that time to come. We’re just so grateful to have each other.

She’s a huge romantic, loves cheesy lines and country love songs. So, I want to give my wife a song for Valentine’s Day to make her feel loved.”
