About Graci Phillips

Graci Phillips is a Nashville native teeming with heart, humor, and honesty. Bright beams of enlightenment and vulnerability stream in through the indie folk-pop songstress. Her elegantly expressive songs burst forth with pop hooks, sweetly lush orchestral touches, playful and impressionistic lyrics, and broadly resonate themes such as relationships, self-growth, and issues of mental health.

Graci grew up immersed in the freewheeling life of musicians, as her parents are singer-songwriters and took her along on their performing adventures. Graci got her start in a family band, but quickly set out on her own distinct path and has grown to be a seasoned live performer in her own right. Select onstage career highlights include performing at the 2018 and 2019 TCS New York City Marathon for 55,000-plus runners and spectators, and performing for several thousand people in LA at the 2012 ASCAP I Create Music Expo. When she’s not onstage or in the studio, Graci gives back by being a mentor to young female writers through the non-profit Girls Write Nashville and working in the sustainable arts with Turnip Green Creative Reuse. Previously, the Nashville based artist released her debut album, Catastrophe (2011), which was themed around a high school “first love” breakup. She followed her first release with the six-song collection, Burning House EP.

Her December 2019 release, Stopping By Woods EPs, organic and raw instrumental approach will set the tone for future releases, including her sophomore album which she is currently tracking.
